Caliber Infosolutions’ Board of Directors and Advisors consists of distinguished persons and veterans in the industry who can give strategic direction to the Company, who can promote innovation for the benefit of its customers, who can ensure an increase in value to stakeholders in the medium and long term and who can drive corporate social responsibility in the company. The Board of Directors consists of three members who are responsible for the Company's day to day activities. Two of the three Board members are non-executive directors.
Mr. Sekhar Surabhi, CMD of Caliber Group (India & USA) of companies and is the functional architect of a leading Laboratory Information Management System, CaliberLIMS, specially designed LIMS for the regulated industries for addressing the information management challenge. He has been working with several pharmaceutical companies in helping them to comply with Computer validation norms specially GAMP compliance for large software applications. He specializes in managing integrity of critical applications in highly regulated global environment.
Prior to founding Caliber, Mr. Surabhi, worked extensively in analytical instrumentation and pharmaceutical core testing facility. He established and managed Analytical testing facility for phama and food testing, which was successfully audited by international audit teams. He continually envisions future requirements of customers and fosters innovation to keep the products as front runners in industry.
His company is a recipient of several awards of excellence and he was also conferred as Entrepreneur of the year Award from Hyderabad Management Association (HMA).

Michael Howard is an independent director on the Board of Caliber Infosolutions Inc. from Dec 2008. He is an eminent corporate personality in Pittsburgh PA. He was a very successful CFO with Boston Scientific Corp and then with Medrad, a well known medical devices company, before he established his management consultancy firm. He is a graduate from the University of North Carolina and got his Business Management degree from Kenan Flagler Business School. He is also an independent director on board Lifecor Inc.
Mr. Howard brings a great value to board through his invaluable advice in planning strategies and adhering to compliance requirements.
Rajasekhar heads the Global Software Product Delivery for the Caliber group of companies. He is a Microsoft certified Engineer and a Post graduate in Science. He has hands-on experience in Mapping Business Processes, Process automation, Implementation and testing of Distributed Control systems, Quality control systems, Documentation and Support. He has the distinction of delivering large projects with precision and passion. He has an immaculate record of successful implementations of CaliberLIMS in the pharma, petroleum, refinery and food verticals over the past 11 years.
Rajasekhar has made an immense contribution to Caliber's success by making every project delivery an on-time and a successful delivery. He was instrumental in delivering award winning projects with tremendous technology complexities. Rajasekhar’s extremely good track record for project delivery to various pharmaceutical companies while adhering to GAMP guidelines is a great value to Caliber US.
Caliber Infosolutions Inc. has been funded by Innovation Works Inc. and Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (PLSG), two state funding agencies of Pittsburgh PA. The representatives of both these agencies constitute an advisory board to Caliber Infosolutions Inc.. Larry Miller is an Executive in Residence with Innovation Works and in this capacity, he works with the management teams of early-stage life sciences and medical device companies and other start-ups. Larry provides mentoring and network access, and also serves as an observer on the board of directors.
Larry has more than 20 years experience in leading and managing medical device companies to identify commercializeable IP and accelerate product development, raise venture capital, manage cash flow, identify market opportunities and generate sales, sustain profits, and implement productivity and quality improvement practices. Prior to joining Innovation Works, Larry has held key positions in companies viz., President and CEO of Biomec, a privately held technology accelerator and investment company , and President of the Healthcare Products group at Picker International and Philips Medical systems, a $600M distributor of radiology supplies. He also managed the Asia/ Pacific region for sales and service of the diagnostic imaging product portfolio, and was President of the Picker Financial Group, a JV, captive leasing company.
Larry has earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Don is the Executive in Residence in PLSG. He joined PLSG for the second time in the summer of 2010 and brings over 15 years of life sciences commercial development experience, most recently as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Cellumen, Inc. (a cell-based assay services company). Prior to Cellumen, Mr. Taylor has held important positions like the Global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Market Segment Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc., Senior Director of Business Development for Vivisimo, Inc., Vice President of Business Development for Strategic Healthcare Programs, LLC (SHP), a Frost & Sullivan award-winning bioinformatics company.
Mr. Taylor began his career as co-founder, President and CEO of Net Health Systems, Inc., a bioinformatics company engaged in web-based disease state management (acquired in 2012) Don received a B.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.S. in Bioengineering from the Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Don is pursuing his PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Taylor has been published in the topics in Healthcare Information Management journal and Methods of Molecular Biology and is a guest lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University.
